Careers

Build a career that keeps people housed, fed, and whole.

Together As One is hiring across all six of our programs — shelter, elder care, food services, recovery, reentry, and our community food bank. If you want your day job to translate directly into a bed, a meal, a check-in, or a second chance for someone in South LA, we'd love to meet you.

Why Together As One

A place where the work you do shows up the same day.

Mission that’s felt, not abstract

Our beds fill nightly. Our food bank opens weekly. The impact of your work isn’t a quarterly dashboard — it’s a neighbor who slept inside because of you.

Six programs, one team

We hire across disciplines. Shelter staff, nurses, food-bank coordinators, recovery peers, and reentry coaches all work side-by-side under one roof.

Growth that mirrors our scale

We’re in our inaugural operating year across five SPA 6 shelters, with elder care and food-bank programs expanding. Early team members shape how we grow.

Lived experience welcomed

Many of our roles — especially peer recovery and reentry coaching — are strengthened by people who’ve walked the path themselves. We actively recruit from the communities we serve.

Benefits that actually help

Health, dental, vision (full-time), paid time off, retirement contribution after one year, mental-health stipend, and meals on shift.

South LA rooted

Every position is on-site in Service Planning Area 6. We don’t commute in from somewhere else — we live and serve in the neighborhoods we care about.
