Our mission
Too many Angelenos cycle between the street and short-term beds. Together As One was built to run structured transitional housing, time-limited, accountable, and tied to Coordinated Entry, so a stay leads somewhere: recovery, income, benefits, and a permanent home. We run strong, accountable programs, and open our ready South LA buildings to operators who run to the same standard, so more strong programs start, sooner.

Since 2016
Thousands of Angelenos housed and a South LA portfolio built to reach many more.
Our flagship work · Transitional Housing
Every resident enrolls through Coordinated Entry, signs an occupancy agreement, and works an individualized plan toward permanent housing, with services on-site and through partners.

Safe, dignified residential housing, private and family-capable units, with the case-management and common space a program needs.

On-site and linked recovery, behavioral health, meals, and benefits: the supportive services that keep housing stable.

Enrollment through the LA Coordinated Entry System, with an occupancy agreement and an individualized housing & service plan, tracked in HMIS.

Case management from assessment to housing navigation, with six months of follow-up after a resident exits to permanent housing.
How the program works
Transitional housing isn't a waiting room. From the first referral to a permanent home, every resident moves through the same accountable process.
Residents are referred and enrolled through the LA Coordinated Entry System (CES).
A signed occupancy agreement and intake into HMIS establish the stay.
A housing & service plan tied to the resident's goals, reviewed every 30–90 days.
Behavioral health, recovery, job readiness, income, and benefits (SSI/SSDI, CalFresh, Medi-Cal).
Housing navigation into a permanent home, with six months of follow-up after exit.

Supportive services
Housing is the foundation, but stability takes more. These services wrap around every resident to support recovery, health, income, and dignity.

Peer support, structured programming, and warm handoffs to clinical and behavioral-health partners, including overdose-prevention (naloxone) training.

Job readiness, fair-chance employer partners, earned-income growth, and benefits advocacy: SSI/SSDI, CalFresh, and Medi-Cal.

Transitional housing plus reentry case management: ID and benefits, housing navigation, employment, and family reunification.

Accessible units, daily check-ins, and care coordination for aging residents and people with disabilities.

Daily meals for residents, plus a community food bank serving South LA families, no appointment, no questions.
